New York Community Solar
New York has one of the highest number of community solar installations in the country. Within our broader portfolio, we have community solar projects across the Hudson Valley and Capital District, providing renewable energy to both commercial and residential customers. These projects represent over $100mm dollars of investment and provides the state with clean renewable energy.
These projects were built under the NY Community solar program, a statewide initiative to make affordable, sustainable energy more accessible.
Our solar farms are installed at an offsite location where consumers are able to subscribe to the project. Participants can access more affordable energy than from a traditional utility company through discounted credits on the low-carbon energy produced.
